someday you'd be all alone

it was nice wearing the rj pe shirt today. it was a nice outing. of a few people, but twas nice. thanks jorddy, lenny, rj and aaron. i really thoroughly enjoyed myself even though we just ate and played ping pong. there really were fun people nice to be around with in 08s06t, even though they were faggots to balance the niceness out. i never regretted my chusing ri so many years ago, and what has come of it. i liked 1i2j, i liked 3p4p. i also liked 08s06t. those were happy times of my life. jc life was fucked up in some ways, but i think i experienced highs and heady pleasures like never before. i remember my og was nice too.

anyway, life in camp has been much better than i have expected. reveille is pronounced Re-VEr-Lee, and its always at the unearthly 0530. even then, vous ne vous reveillez pas a 0530. you will be fucking late. you actually wake up at 0500. or even earlier, especially if there are clowns who wake up at 0430 to bathe. or try to wake up at 0430, but snooze all the way to 0500.

everyday you take temperature and you water parade and all. water parade is a very major part of life, and even the way you hold your bottle is standardized. you drink 500ml everytime. area cleaning is nonsense until you get a standby area/bed. if not you just spend the time shitting or getting more rest.

my sectionmates are nice people, all quite on and very cooperative people who will do their part and wont just anyhow fuck your life up. 3 from overseas schools, 1 from hwach 2 from jj, 1 from aj, 1 from cj, 1 from acsi. my platoon also generally ok, other than 2 prcs who just dont understand english at all and some pinoys who dont know how to stop adjusting in file. 1 blur cock and 1 cheebye, thats about all.

sergeants all quite nice la. use lots of vulgarities and do knock us down from time to time, but compared with F, is already a lot better. compared to other platoons also much lesser. i think they are fair people, just doing their jobs. unlike sarimbun, if one person fks up they just fk the one person, so as long as you dont keep repeating the same mistakes you can scoot through most of the time unscathed. being nice and positive helps.

food is fantastic and theres nothing much to complain about the lodging. other than you have to do your own cleaning. toilets are decent and serviceable, and its good as long as ur not assigned the toilet. i do corridors, which involves little more than hosing all the dustbunnies into the gulleys.and then choking the gulleys, but thats for the next batch to handle. i estimate that it would clog in like 4 months, by which time i will be out of bmt, so heck.

people get sick very easily. i got the tekong cough very soon after entering. think its the water. the water tastes funny. and i think the pipes to the water coolers not very clean. anyway the sick man line is usually longer than the platoon itself. all sorts of funny cases la, like rash from wearing socks, ankle pain, headache. but dont malinger. attend b is just saigang warrior. collect ice, do area cleaning, do shit. and the wait at the medical center can kill. they see cases by urgency, so you can take the whole morning, and even then you wonder whether the mo actually really knows whats wrong.

accept vulgarities, follow instructions, and take everything good as a bonus, and life in bmt will be alright.
